I didn't get the Romac job, so today I was going to go get my oil changed and check out a few places I hear are hiring now. One of them is right down the street. Unfortunately my dad called me and wanted me to go over to his house, and didn't care that I already had plans. He wanted me to get my oil changed at this place in Leesburg that he always goes to, so I had to drive all the way to Leesburg just to find out that the guy's busy and can't do it today. So, we went to this place about five minutes away that was supposed to be hiring. I filled out an app and had to wait almost a half hour just for a lady to tell me that she'd call me sometime this week. The whole time my dad kept nagging me about stupid stuff. I felt like just leaving his ass somewhere. At one point I started laughing while he was yelling at me about something because I was picturing him hobbling on the side of the road with his walker, looking all sad because no one would give him a ride. Hahahaha

Came home after that fiasco with no time to do my homework. I had to jump the fence because my grandfather locked the gate (with an actual lock this time) and I don't have a key. In Software class we had a really easy test on Excel and Access. I don't use either of them and I still knew everything on it, but I'm almost failing the class because I don't do the homework. I messed around in photoshop for the rest of class. I asked the girl next to me if she wanted to go do something after class. She just told me she had a boyfriend and that was the end of that.

I came home and got on the computer to check mail, forums and whatnot, and started getting errors. Restarted and Windows took a long time to boot up. Nothing in the control panel worked. Regedit wouldn't work. I couldn't open some apps without opening them in "compatibility mode." Looks like Josh fucked something up. Time to reinstall.

I wish my dad would stay off my back for a week. All he's doing is making me waste gas running errands for him. He calls my house all the time and takes literally 35 minutes just to tell me one thing that would normally take 2 minutes to say, and then he wonders why I sometimes act like I'm not paying attention. Today he told me I didn't have to go over there tomorrow, but tonight he said he wanted me over there. I told him I had plans and he gave me another 20 minute lecture. I have no idea what it was about. I can't ignore him because then he'll show up here and make a big scene, and eventually the cops will have to be called, and later he'll just show up again. I don't know what to do. Maybe I should kick his ass.

Today something odd happened: Jason didn't come over, despite him leaving his cell phone here. It was weird because he practically lives here now. My dad called me this morning and told me to go to his house so we could go up to Sears and get some shocks for my car, like I can't get them myself. Turns out he had already called and had them order the shocks, and the guy that ordered them messed a lot of stuff up and they didn't have them in stock. They had a better pair in stock so they gave them to me for the same price as the cheapos my dad ordered. Then we drove around a while and he almost made me late for class again, despite me repeating regularly that I had to be at school soon.

I went to class and it turns out I got a 44 on my test because I didn't show all of my work, and my work on some problems was "shown in the wrong format." I can't fucking believe this shit. I can divide 3 into 135 in my head without doing fucking long division. Learned that shit in the 3rd fucking grade. And the format thing was like me putting 4-5 instead of 4+(-5) or some retarded shit like that. If the teacher didn't have such a nice ass I wouldn't even bother showing up. Fuckin' bitch.

As it is now, with the failed test (EVEN THOUGH MY ANSWERS WERE CORRECT) and the missed days, the only way I could possibly pass that class is to get 95s or above on the next two tests. I have no chance of passing my hardware class because I have 9 0s (fuck homework), and my software class isn't looking too good, either (fuck homework). I hate this shit. This material is too easy for me. They won't let me test out of the classes and register for higher courses. I know the subject material but I get a ton of homework that I don't have time to do (or just don't want to) so I fail. I thought that asinine garbage would end with high school.

Went home and didn't do a whole lot. Josh was on the computer even though he's grounded. I hate how he always gets away with it because he's taking up my time, and I got removed from CES. NH2 took over again and I guess he doesn't like me. He's an idiot, anyway.

Added two things to the design section: bg.jpg and sandsig.jpg

Jason quit his job this morning and woke me up at 7:30 to tell me about it. He only worked two days but it was enough to break him. I've never seen a sunburnt Puerto Rican before. Evidently that's a job for hardcore Mexicans, not sissy Puerto Ricans. I'll go ahead and scratch that prospect off my list.

My dad wanted me to go over to his house and pick him up so I can look for a job. I don't know why I need to pick him up to look for a job for myself. I got hired at once place and semi-hired at another. The place I got hired at is some newpaper printing place way the hell out in the middle of nowhere, almost two hours away from where I live. Not going to show up tomorrow. The other place is a hardware store/door factory called Romac. They were hiring for the door factory but I told them I knew about computers so they want me to be their network tech for all thair accounting shit. They just hired someone for the position yesterday but they're more impressed with me. They pay 9 bucks an hour and it's about ten minutes from school so hopefully I'll get it. My dad didn't like the fact that I'd be working with computers, though, so he hobbled inside and asked the lady if I could work in the door factory, instead. She told him it pays less but sure, if that's what I want to do. I said I'd wait to hear that they're hiring me over the other person, and gave her a look that clearly said "fuck the door factory." Fuck my dad, too.

When I hot home I shaved my beard off. I look like I'm 12 again. I'm going to get my hair cut short tomorrow and will hopefully have myself a nice job.

More job searching today, with few leads. I called my dad to let him know that I can't help him do whatever it was he needed help with today because my grandma won't let me go anywhere on Mondays and Wednesdays, since I missed my class once because my dad just started talking and wouldn't shut up. Well I ended up getting into a conversation with him that lasted 30 minutes of me just going "yep...uh huh" because he starts talking and never shuts up. Seriously. He never fucking shuts up.

After playing some Mario Sunshine I left for class around 3:45. I was about half-way there when I saw a cop sitting on the side of the road. I wasn't speeding but he pulled out and was riding my ass for a long time until we got just past the old 7-11 (about 3/4 the way there). He said one of my brake lights was out, and took ten goddamn minutes to do his license check shit. Then he searched my car for another ten minutes, but not before asking me retarded questions, like if I had any illegal immigrants in my car. "I dunno. One or two might have jumped in there when I wasn't looking." Probably wasn't the best answer to give him, but it's a fucking Geo Tracker. I couldn't hide anyone in there if I tried. After searching my car and doing more bullshit in his cruiser he gave me a written warning to fix my brake light. I was too late for class to get attendance so I said fuck it and went to my mom's house for a while. I told my grandmother about the cop, expecting her to blow up at me like it was somehow my fault. Instead, she called the Eustis PD and bitched someone out for a good 15 minutes.

Hopefully I'll be starting a job at this nursery soon.

Today, Jason, Josh and I were sitting around bored and made a joint decision that we wanted a Game Cube. Josh is the only one out of the three of us with money, so he volunteered to pay for it if Jason bought the accessories (controllers, memory card) and I paid some back whenever I got a job. We were in the middle of playing Super Smash Brothers Melee (awesome game) when my grandmother stomped into the room and asked my brother why some of his money was missing. He keeps it in a drawer in his room and evidently my grandmother checks it everyday to make sure he's not spending a dime of it, which was unknown to us at the time (both that she checked it and that he wasn't allowed to spend any of it). After pulling him out of the room and bitching at him for a while she got all over me about "forcing" him to buy me a video game system. There were all kinds of things wrong with this, and I was so pissed my hands were shaking. I had a thousand words in my head, and none of them were kind. But, I just stood there with half a smile on my face.

After she told us to take it back, I pleasantly began my counter-argument, doing my best to belittle her and insult her intelligence at every opportunity as calmly as possible while Jason and Josh were hiding their faces and trying not to laugh. I covered pretty much everything I thought was wrong with the whole situation, and touched on the fact that she's getting old and has enough things to worry about without getting her heart rate up over a non-issue like this. Jason offered to pay Josh the rest of the money for the GC once he got another deck painting job, and he'd keep it over here since he's always over here anyway. My grandmother started to argue but I gave her the same look from before, and I don't think she liked being humiliated in front of anyone, even if it was just Jason and Josh there, so she just quietly said "alright," and walked away. Then it was back to smash brothers.

Despite its bad rep as being a "kiddy console" I think the GC is the best console out right now.

Jason came over today and woke me up way too early. We played CS until about 1 pm, when my dad called me from the hospitol in Leesburg and wanted me to come pick him up. I got there about 1:50 and we tried to leave but they told us we needed to wait on the nurse and we had to get some blue paper or something. So we sat there for half an hour waiting. My dad asked how much longer it was going to take and they told us we could leave and weren't sure why we were still here. I was expecting a classic asshole-dad explosion. Didn't happen, to my extreme surprise. He hobbled up to the door with his walker and an old couble looked right at him and closed the door in his face. Here it is, I thought. Here come the punches. Nope. He just opened the door. This had me thinking that his head injury had killed the part of his brain that made him an asshole. The part that made him talk non-stop about shit I don't care about was still fully functional, though.

I got home around 5 and my grandmother started bitching at me. My aunt was there and she couldn't get in because the gate was locked. I told her I don't have a key and that Josh had it (he was at a friend's house or something), but she kept bitching. So, I repeated it: "I. Don't. Have. A. Key. To. Unlock. The. Gate. You. Told. Me. To. Give. It. To. Josh. So. I. Gave. It. To. Josh. I. No. Longer. Have. It." She still didn't seem to understand how this would stop me from opening the gate. She then told me to go unlock it. I just stood there looking at her, wondering if old people had false brains like false teeth and maybe hers is soaking in a jar somewhere. So, I shrugged and went over to the gate...and it wasn't even fucking locked. It just had a chain loosely wrapped around it.

People ask me why I'm so bitter.

Yesterday I went to my dad's house to help him take his boat to someone's house to see if it leaks, and to sell it. He broke his ankle, his bad knee, bad shoulder and his head because some heavy door or gate or something fell on his head at work, so now he's hobbling around with a walker. We took the boat out to this guy's house and he baught it for $500. My dad gave me $30 for helping him. I came home and Jason was waiting for me. We did the finishing touches on the CD v8 layout. It's up on cdeath.net now, so go check it out.

My grandmother made me make a trip out to Tangerine to hook up my aunt's fax machine. Apparently she doesn't know how to plug in a phone cable and a power cord. Doesn't know I'm broke and need gas money, either, apparently. I came home and at the same time Jason was pulling up. I showed him my plans for CD v8, and we tinkered with that idea for a while. 5:30 rolled around and he went home and I picked up Tim and we headed out to KFC. When I got back home Jason and I finished the layout. It'll be up tomorrow.

Jason came over really early today because he blew a tire on his way to work. We played CS until I had to go to class.

I hate that class. We went over basic stuff in Excel, like how to type in the cells. On the way home I stopped in the brand new 7-11 that opened today. It was closed when I got there but my mom was there and so was my aunt. They let me in and I got some free fountain drinks and just hung out while they were going over inventory. It's a nice store, and I get the hook-ups like free fountain drinks, hot chocolate, and I can put other stuff on my mom's grocery bill. I should have gotten something to eat while I was there because there was nothing waiting on me when I got home. Damn, I'm hungry.

I am broke, as well. I'm not allowed to use the money in my bank account anymore for some reason. I can't even use it to buy gas. Don't know why. Every cent of it is my money.
