The buyer was a no-show. What a damned liar.
Yesterday I put a pizza on my pizza cooker thing that sits on top of my microwave and noticed that my trash bag was full. So I tied it up and walked towards the curb with it. My grandma saw me and stopped me, telling me to do all sorts of things. The result was a cleaned and groomed front yard, a weeping trash pickup crew, and cold pizza. I was going to take a few photos of the 30 or so trash bags, seven trash cans, five boxes and two buckets full of lawn debris, but I forgot.
The ground in this large chunk of yard where my grill used to be was completely covered by wandering jews and monstera leaves (and we still one or two thousand monstera deliciosas left), and under that was about a four inch layer of oak leaves. There were also a ton of my grandmother's lawn ornaments that were either broken or rotten, or fine and I just threw them out when she wasn't looking because they're ugly and they piss me off.

I think I have finally found a buyer for my camaro. The molded mullet mobile hasn't been much more than a lawn ornamanet for almost two years. I'm gonna try to get a grand for it.

House is the second-coolest show on television.

My grandmother dumped a bunch of black cow fertilizer where my brother parks his car. Last night she wanted to go to my aunt's house in my brother's car for some reason. It was raining. She got the car stuck in the muddy cow shit when she tried to back it out and was somehow surprised by this. Before I could finish giving her even one of a number of options I was going to suggest, she told me to call AAA to have it pulled out and that she would take her car (well, a rental car, since hers is in the shop), which was parked in our paved driveway, instead. I told her I could wake up early in the morning to get it out so I didn't have to use one of my three AAA calls, but she said that she didn't want to drive him to work in the morning. As I began telling her that Heath or I could drive him to work and pick him up, she insisted that I call AAA. She wouldn't use her card. She wanted me to use mine.
I can't think of any reason why she would dump black cow where my brother parks his car, would want to take his car instead of hers, didn't want to drive my brother in the morning, didn't want Heath or I to drive him, or didn't want to use her own AAA service. I'm starting to think there's some truth in what my dad says about her losing her mind.
Too tired to function fluidly today but I'm trying my best!

I got some new tires put on the front yesterday. I think they're 235/60s...235s definitely, not sure about the ratio. They didn't have shit for rears so I ordered some 265/55s to have them put on this weekend if they get here by then. It's actually kind of good that they didn't have any in stock because it took the clowns four hours to mount the front tires and do the allignment. It was about 30 minutes to closing when they were finally done. I took that opportunity to catch up on some sleep in the waiting room.
I'm returning the 275/40/17s I ordered and keeping the 255s for later use on the rear. Still trying to decide on keeping the IROC wheels and getting spacers for the front, or putting them up on ebay and getting the shitty-looking wheels Tire Rack has for my car. I would like to stick with 15s but the only decent tires I can get for the rear on 15s are drag radials, which would suck for a daily driver. If anyone is interested, the wheels are 17x8" with 4.5" backspacing and 0mm offset. They look like this: click. Only one has been mounted and it was on the car for about 30 seconds in the air. If I sell them I'll let them go for $500 plus shipping. This weekend I'm going to try putting a tire with a smaller sidewall (225/45s) on the front. I know someone who uses these wheels on a Regal T-Type with no spacers and 255/45s in the front so evidently it's possible.

Ok...when someone told me 17" IROC wheels with a 0mm offset would fit, they didn't mention that it would need spacers for the front. Spacers have to be custom-made, and Tire Kingdom won't put them on because of the risk of the wheel coming off.
Also, 275/40/17s will fit on a 8" wide rim, but just barely, and will be a bitch to get to seal correctly. The guys in the shop decided it was more trouble than it was worth because they didn't want to take a chance on messing the tire up. Thanks whoever told me they would work fine.
So, I need to return the entire set and just get some 255s on the rear and 225s in the front. Wow, I am pissed.

So Jesse Jackson and other idiots are saying that the slow response time for the storm victims is because of the fact that most of the victims are black. Gotta love the douches using a crisis like this to push an agenda. I've even seen a report saying that black people in New Orleans were having to resort to cannibalism in order to survive due to the lack of help. Perhaps the fuckwit author of that bullshit should have researched the fact that it takes a little longer than four days to starve to death. If there is cannabalism, it just shows what happens when people don't get their crack fix.
And to say that this is any one party or entity's fault is simply asinine. I wish you fuckers would quit chewing up bandwidth to throw canned liberal/conservative obloquies back and forth.
Got my tires and wheels in yesterday with no visible water damage. I'll get them mounted tomorrow and will have pictures up after I do.
